WOMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia WADDELL will be conducted by Rev. Bethea Stedham
@ 2 o'clock today @ Shoal Creek Church. The funeral cortege will leave the
residence @ Sixth Avenue South @ 1:15 today. Mrs. Waddell died @ 1:30 o'clock
Sunday morning @ Decatur General Hospital where she had been a patient for a
short time. Surviving are two (2) granddaughters; Mrs. James R. Morgan and Mrs.
D. C. Martin. Two (2) grandsons; Clifford A. Parker and Billy Morgan and one
great granddaughter, Betty Ann Martin. Grandsons will be the pallbearers and
granddaughters will have charge of the flowers. Burial will be in Shoal Creek
Cemetery. Brown directing.

BELOVED MANCALLED HOME
Robert L. Woodall, aged 80 years, passed away early Friday afternoon at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. Gurley Johnson, 1010 Jackson street. The deceased is
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Maggie King of Danville route
two; two sons, Berry Woodall, Alabama City; 14 grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
at Johnson's Chapel by Rev. C.L. Cobb, pastor of the Sixteenth Avenue Baptist
church. Interment will be made at Johnson's Chapel, McAfee, Howell and Young
directing. The following will be pallbearers: Floyd Johnson, Lewis Woodall,
Herman Johnson, Bud Woodall, Cleo Johnson, Elmer Johnson. The following will
handle flowers: Ruby King, Frances Powers, Wilma Johnson, Thelma Rhodes, Martha
Dell King, Fannie Elkins and Lillie Belle Powers.

WOMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Woodall Dies At Her Rural Home Mrs. Sallie Woodall, 69 years of age, passed
away at her residence on Hartselle, route 2. The deceased is survived by her
husband, Robert Woodall; two sons, R.G. and W.D. Woodall, of Hartselle, route 2;
two daughters, Mrs. M.L. Gurley, of Hartselle, route 2, and Mrs. W.M. King, of
Austinville; eleven grand- children and a number of other relatives. Funeral
services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Johnson's Chapel,
interment being made at the same place, Priest directing.

FUNERAL TODAY FOR BELOVED WOMAN
JERUSHA THOMAS WORLEY
Funeral services are announced today for Mrs. R. L. Worley at 2 o'clock today at
the residence of her brother E. L. Thomas, whose residence is at the corner of
4th Avenue and Johnston Street, Albany Mrs. Worley died at her residence on
Second Avenue late yesterday following three weeks illness with pneumonia. The
deceased is survived by her husband and four sons, John, Floyd, Clarence and
Lee. Four brothers survive her, I. B. Thomas of Birmingham, E. L. , J. R., O.
J., and J. D. Thomas, all of the Twin Cities. Three sisters survive the
deceased, Mrs. Lee Ingram of Pulaski, Tenn., Mrs. Kittie Carden of Albany and
Mrs. Sallie Rogers of Oneonta. The services are to be conducted by Rev. Noble R.
Edwards, pastor of the First Christian Church and by Rev. A. H. Manley, pastor
of the Westside Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Worley was a consistent member of the
Presbyterian Church and greatly beloved by all who knew her. The pall bearers
announced are: E. D. Whitman, R. E. Chandler, W. M. Davidson, T. A. Caddell, J.
P. Matlock and W. E. Sivley.
