HANKINS,  Eliza JaneI am looking for information on Eliza Jane Hankins b1825 in Marion Co,. AL m1: Rasberry, m2: D.W. Hester, m3: Thomas Norris. Children: Cullen b abt 1850, Wilson Isaac b abt 1859, J.W b ? married to Biddie Rasberry. 1889 Fayette co. census shows Thomas Norris, Jane, Cullen Rasberry, Wilson Isaac Rasberry, Biddie Rasberry, Connie Rasberry. LDS Family group record: D.W. Hester/ Eliza Jane Hankins W Cullen Rasberry b: abt 1850 Fayette co., AL.  As you can see, Eliza Jane was married three times. I am looking for just about anything. I have a few bits and pieces but not enough to put anything together. Connie Rasberry was my greatgrandmother.  Thank You, L Holloway

Harrison, DavidSeeking info. on David Harrison, who was born abt. 1816 in Franklin Co., Tenn.! He married Eliza McClung abt. 1845, and they settled in Lamar Co., Alabama before 1870. They had 5 son's; James William, born abt. 1851, Thomas G. born Jan.15, 1854, died May 24, 1935 in Crossville, Lamar Co., Ala. Samuel C. born abt. 1858, Emmit W. born abt. 1863, and Joseph Thomas Harrison born abt. 1874- died Nov.29, 1927 in Lamar Co., Ala. Thomas G., Emmit W., and Joseph T. were all buried at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church Cem., just north of Crossville, Ala. Any one searching for these names, I would like to contact them!

HERRINGTON:  JOHN HERRINGTON (LAMAR County) and PATRICK HERRINGTON (Blount County)  Are these two men related??  I have civil war records on both and they were in the same unit in the Civil War and were both captured at the Battle of Franklin/Nashville.  John was sent to Camp Chase, Ohio and died there.  Patrick was sent to Camp Douglas, Illinois where he was released at the end of the war and returned to North Alabama.  Does anyone have any info on John Herrington, records show he bought land in 1860 for township 14S and range 15W in what is now Lamar County?  Contact:  Bert added 4/4/03

Mary Catherine Hewlett was born about 1826 in Morgan Co. Al. Married about 1840 in Winston County Al. to Allen Boston McLain. She left a will naming all of her children in 1888 in Lamar County, Al. The will was probated Feb.1890. Looking for her grave or any other information on her and her children. The children named in the will was William Hewlett McLain, Felix Duncan  McLain [ my Gr-Grandfather], Dr. David Hubbard McLain, Rebecca Hewlett, Rebecca Hewlett, Leonore Rush, Duanna McLain, Margaret Irene White, Eunice Morton.  Also mentioned in her will was her Nesmith grandchildren and Underwood grandchildren. James David Hopper:  bn. about 1824-25 in either Ireland, SC, NC or AL. Owned land in Pickens county, AL  from 1858 until after 1870.   Served in the Home Guard for Pickens county, AL during the Civil War.   Moved  to  Lamar county,  and is shown in Lamar county, AL on the 1880 census.
