ME Taylor Letter 1917

M. E. Taylor letter to J. F. Turner

Boise City, Okla.

Sept. 4, 1917

Mr. J. F. Turner, Vernon, Ala.

Dear Nephew,

I will answer your most welcome letter which I rec'd several days ago. I would have written sooner, but have been visiting quite a bit lately and haven't been at home.

We are all well. I hope you all are the same. We have had lots of rain the last three weeks and crops are going to be pretty good, although we need more rain for the late crop. The crop on my place has come out since the rain till I think it will make quite a bit. I am sure glad you are going to make a good crop.

War is all the talk out here. I guess it is back there too isn't it? I will close for this time. Answer soon.

Yours Truly,

M. E. Taylor
