Location: On property belonging to Bob Weeks. Accessible through Murphy Barnes pasture, Crews.

Jane Malinda Benson, wife of H. Benson and daughter of George and Jane Bankhead born Feb. 4, 1814, died August 18, 1834

George Bankhead, who departed this life on February 21, 1847, aged 70 years. (Note: George was the grandfather of Senator John Hollis Bankhead)

J.B. (Joshua Bailey) Marchbanks (Captain in 5th AL Cavalry) born 1812, died 1870 (married Elvira Bankhead, daughter of George and Jane Greer Bankhead) Lacy

1/5/2005 Note from Kawatha "Kay" Koonce:  Elijah Marchbanks was married to Adaline Bankhead, daughter of George and Jane Greer Bankhead.  Joshua Bailey Marchbanks was married to Elvira, who is buried in the Vernon City Cemetery.  See Article on the Fayette County, AlGenWeb page on Mary Adaline Bankhead Marchbanks here:
