It was recorded in Blankenship family bible that Harriett
Epperson was the sister to Martha Ann Epperson wife of James Thomas
Blankenship, this was told to me by Voilet Davis on 24 Feb 1993.

Miles Green Blankensip fought in the Confedrate Army during the Civil War.

I have a picture of Miles Green Blankenship with his war metals on. I got this
picture from Frederic F. White's family picture collect in the possion of
Suejene Carpenter, Nashville, TN in 1989. On the back of the picture is
printed Julius R. Blankenship. I thought that is who the picture was of. In
1993, Voilet Davis called and told me that the man in the picture was her
grandfather, M. G. Blankenship.
