Jane would have been about 21 years old at the time of the 1850 census. Joseph Allison Jordan was born on June 10, 1850. He was her first born as far as I know. Re: William S. (W.S.) SMITH, Choctaw County 1860. My local library has Choctaw County census 1870, but it only has "Butler" post office. My question: Is "Butler" post office the only 1870 census for Choctaw County 1870, or does my library have an incomplete copy. I have found my William S. SMITH in 1850 Wilcox County as a child, and in 1860 Choctaw County (Bladon Springs) married and with three children. I have been unable to find him in 1870, but I believe my library copy of 1870 Choctaw County census may be incomplete. Thank you for any help.
