Capt. George Kinard, born about 1780, died 5 February 1833, married Catherine Koon, born about 1780, died 22 January 1861, daughter of George Adam Koon, Sr. Capt. George Kinard is buried in a separate cemetery just south of the Barre-Kinard Cemetery, Pomaria, SC (Nby Cemeteries, Vol. 1, p. 139).

1) David Kinard, born about 1800, died before 1861, wife named Clarisa, b. about 1800, d. after 1850. Moved after 1841 to Washington Co., TX. Was in Polk Co., TX, by 1849. Thought to have returned to Washington Co. about 1852/53. Family of David Kinard from files of Naomi Kinard Hughes (hughes@imsday.com).
2) John Kinard, born about 1803, died 20 October 1872. Did not marry.
3) George Kinard, Jr., born about 1804, died after 1870, married 1 September 1833 (Perry Co., AL) Patsy Koon, born about 1810, daughter of Adam Koon and Mary Lagrone. Family of George Kinard, Jr. from files of Bryan T. Winter.
4) Mary Kinard, born about 1810, died April 1880, married John David Koon, born 1822, died 25 November 1867, son of John Koon and Christina Kinard.
5) Henry Kinard, born 22 December 1813, died 26 March 1862, married Happy Delilah Koon, born 5 October 1820, died 12 March 1898, daughter of John Koon and Christina Kinard.
6) Jacob Kinard, born 22 December 1813, died 1878, married 15 March 1837 (Bibb Co., AL) Rhuma Elizabeth Palmer, born 20 January 1820, died 1900. Both buried Mathias Cemetery, Bibb Co., AL. Family of Jacob Kinard from files of Robin Garland (Rgarl379882aol.com).

g) Louisa Kinard, born 1853, died 1924, buried Mathias Cemetery, Bibb County, AL, married John Henry Mathis, born 1859, died 1946, buried in Mathias Cemetery, Bibb County, AL.
h) Jacob Esua Kinard, born 20 March 1855 (AL), died 18 August 1917, married 31 January 1878 (Tuscaloosa Co., AL), Sarah Isabell Hill, born 10 August 1855, died 10 March 1941 (Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio), daughter of David Hill and Sarah Norwood. They are buried in Brent Cemetery, Brent, Bibb County, AL. 1. Rilar R. Kinard, born January 3, 1878, married Samuel W. Foley (1874-1927), son of Henry P. Foley and Adaline Johnson, December 8, 1895 in Centerville, Bibb County, Alabama. She died April 4, 1978 and is buried in the Champion Cemetery, Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio 2. Edward D.
