Wood stated that he was indebted to Josiah L. Kennedy in the sum of $80 due January 1, 1842 (promissory note). Plaintiff had received a judgment against Josiah L. and Lewis Kennedy in the amount of $183.18 at the August Term 1839. Anthony Stoutenborough testified that Josiah and Lewis has no property out of which to pay the judgment. Court ordered that plaintiff recover of Pilgrim Wood the sum of $80 out of which the plaintiffs would pay the cost of this suit. August 1842 John W.
