Brierfield (Evergreen) Cemetery

The Brierfield Community Cemetery is located at the end of Rolling Mill Road, which comes off of Hwy. 139.

The structure is made of chemically treated wood known as creosote which can burn the skin. It says "Brierfield Cemetery - 1850". There is a gap in the fence to the left of the gate. There are also graves in the woods that border the cemetery and along the road just before the cemetery. The picture of the entrance and the many names below were sent in by Charles Wittichen Anderson "Brother".
